Default If we(ever) go back to normal(or the new normal)...?

What things would you like to stay in place?

I love been able to sit down somewhere and order drinks and food on an app and it be brought to you and pay on the app etc

I like when you can book timed slots for certain things so that places don't get too busy

I hope the better cleaning routines stay

What would you like to stay around forever now?

Microsoft Teams although I am somewhat conflicted.

Face to face meetings are more personal, but Microsoft Teams means I can attend a lot more meetings as I haven't got to travel...so less time constraints, less working hours taken up by travelling.

That's one of the first things that comes to mind for me.

Yeah - I agree on the Teams thing. I do a lot of interviewing and by far prefer actually having someone sat in front of me. There is a lot you can pick up on far easier in person but having the ability to undertake video interviews has been a godsend these last months.

Yeah and I think for things like interviewing or matters which are particularly sensitive would need face to face... going forward though I think a lot of places will keep teams for certain things because it's more cost effective and time effective.

agree with the better cleaning routines

and ordering food, drinks on an app is very good, for these modern times anyways, even when things can go back to normal or new normal

i already see that in one of our bungalow park apps i have on my tablet, Landal Greenparks (it has gotten into a merge deal with Roompot still not sure if the name will change either) but anyhow, for the restaurants, fastfoodtakeaway service you can order it now from your bungalow via the app, also pay this via app, and they will give you a specific time they think your food should be ready which is very handy so you will avoid busy crowds like that, but also making sure no contact payments with paper cash

got my holiday with my parents booked for September to Veluwe, and we have taken some preparations, such as sleeping bags so we can avoid the bedding where other people lay on for example, already a place filled with bacteria, let alone in times with covid, so better to be safe than sorry

we already did clean the house thoroughly pre-covid but now will be extra thorough

i myself will probably wear a face mask when leaving bungalow for a hike, you never know if you come in contact with anyone, again precaution is much better than being careless

my parents got a holiday booked for August, so maybe, maybe not i can be online in the evenings i'll see
