Default Its weird to think...

ok i will start

It’s weird to think that nighttime is the natural state of the universe, and that daytime is only caused by a nearby, radiating ball of fire

I was watching a video about black holes yesterday and the whole subject terrifies me (in an awe-inspiring way)... just the sheer size of some (I'd been unaware of the term "ultra-massive black hole", which is apparently a thing).

My family have always used quilts... never used a sheet with one. Been all over the continent, never seen anyone use one with a sheet.

You realise it's blood that gets shared along the umbilical cord and not food, right? it doesn't go into the baby's actual stomach.

why would it be gross, I think you are mixing up quilts with duvets? we take the duvet cover off and wash it weekly just the same as a sheet?

It's weird to think that annually, the biggest purchaser of explosives is the US Department of Defense. The second biggest purchaser is..... Disney.

It's weird to think that the velociraptor, so scary in Jurassic Park, was in fact about the size of a turkey and had feathers.

The KT Extinction Event was actually smaller and less devastating than the one at the beginning of the Triassic Period, which led to the Age of the Dinosaurs!

It's a common misconception that all of the "well known dinosaur types" were around at the same time, when many of them were separated by millions of years. You commonly see depictions of T-rex fighting Stegasaurus, Velociraptors jumping on a Brachiosaurus... tens of millions of years between them!

Also most of the dinosaurs in "Jurassic Park" are not Jurassic at all. It should be called "Cretaceous Park"... in fact the Brachiosaurs are the only ones in the first film I can think of that are actually Jurassic.

I guess it should be called "Mesozoic Park" most accurately. Not very catchy though

Ehh, I can overlook some things, "Because Movie".

(Well, technically it's Because Book, but heyho)

Let's just say the park was built by philanthropist-capitalist John Hammond, who wanted q catchy and commercially viable name for his latest business venture, which could be easily pronounced by the kiddies.

Well yes you could argue that in-universe the park was named the same way the movie/book was named in the real world (based on what made the catchiest name).

Tbh though we all know if it was a real thing, it would be called something dumb like “Dinoworld”

It's weird to think that Birmingham City Football Club has won two games in a row.

Yes I've lowered the tone, I'll try to think of something more profound I promise.
