Police hunt for missing person as locals are evacuated and
explosions are heard amid reports of choking toxic fumes and black polystyrene
falling from the sky in Leamington Spa plastics fire

  • Residents reporting multiple explosions and major fire in Juno Drive, Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire
  • Shocking pictures showed apocalyptic-like scenes as huge plumes of black smoke tower over the town
  • Roads remain closed and residents are advised to stay indoors as the emergency services tackle the blaze

I think I'd still be trying to take an impromptu weekend away if at all possible... plastic fumes can be nasty.
