Default Scotland :Celebrity chef Nick Nairn's restaurant is destroyed by fire in 90 seconds

Has he
had cheap, Dodgy builders/electricians helping him?

[A fire broke out at chef Nick Nairn's restaurant
in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire
Over 30 firefighters were tackling
the blaze, which broke out on Saturday night
The Scottish chef, 62, claimed a piece of
equipment malfunctioned at the diner

Six fire engines went to scene,
and two people were treated for smoke inhalation]

[Mr Nairn's staff reportedly tried to
dampen the flames with a fire blanket and
tackled it with extinguishers,
but were forced to flee when
the appliance 'exploded'.

The chef said that an off-duty police officer
and firefighter were both dining with
the restaurant at the time and assisted
with getting terrified diners to safety.]

Who wired The Electrics In?

Not so much the wiring (if the appliance exploded) my question would be how did it spread so easily and quickly from the kitchen? They’re supposed to be designed and built with materials that make it easy for fire to be contained. For a lot longer than 90 seconds anyway. When I was a little Toy Chef the kitchen I worked in was essentially made entirely out of stainless steel, so it was basically impossible for a localised fire to spread. No fuel sources to spread on. And in my time I set fire to both a chargrill and an entire array if four deep fat fryers (that one was pretty scary tbh).

Many use Cheaper Electricians
to save money
But wiring it wrong can cause it to Blow

Yes, Deep Fat Fryers need an Experienced worker in charge

I bet its an over packed Kitchen
that should not have got its Fire approval.
