Briefly since yesterday, the house warms up fast though so it was only for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon and timer set for 90 minutes this morning (30 mins before alarm and then the first hour).

Using heating after October 1st is allowed though . Before the beginning of October is immoral.

Also we only actually have two radiators turned on currently - Front one in the living room (if both living room radiators are on EVER, even in dead of winter, the room is a furnace) and bathroom. Bedrooms get far too hot if the heating is on, and I find heating in the kitchen pretty pointless . If you're in there for any length of time it's to cook, surely, and that heats up the room. Otherwise keep it cold... bread will last longer, fridge won't have to work as hard, tonnes of benefits

My house was hitting 30 at times this summer, if someone had turned on the CH I think we might have simply combusted.

Same - the last couple of mornings its been on when I get up. The house warms quickly though so its not been on for more than a hour at the moment - just to get the chill out of the air.

I don't have central heating, but I had an electric halogen fire on Sunday. Just one bar.

Only wearing a jumper today and fleece today.
