Yeah any obstruction of the windscreen is an MOT fail and reason to pull you over (and you can get 3 points). Even an air freshener .

it amazes me that they can get so hot for air fresheners, yet half of drivers could be seriously sight impaired and not fit to drive because they havent had an eye test

Me 2018 - 2020 .

I didn't realise how bad my eyes were until I went to get them checked and they put up the letters and I said "Oh **** "

Since my wife drives me everywhere now (as I essentially have no right foot), I like to occasionally take off my glasses in the car and say "lol I was driving about like this ". It's especially dramatic at night, headlights create a massive "lens flare" effect (astigmatism) that basically makes everything just a blur of lights and colours. Then I pop my glasses back on and it all flips into focus.

A novelty still, over a year later.

But yeah I shouldn't have been driving at all. ****ing hell.
