Default Sir Lindsay Hoyle blasts 'discourteous' Rishi Sunak

Yes you got Very, Very Angry, Again?

But you (Lindsay) seem to do nothing about it?

[Sir Lindsay Hoyle blasts
'discourteous' Rishi Sunak for releasing
parts of his Budget ahead of time
and without telling Parliament first
as MPs accuse ministers
of 'treating parliamentary democracy
with utter contempt'

Treasury made a series of
policy announcements through
the weekend and week ahead
of Budget tomorrow
Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Commons Speaker,
said announcements should be
to MPs first rather than the media
Sir Lindsay has made a habit
of calling out ministers for
making announcements in this way]

Lindsay Shouted "it is not done through Sky TV"

Joey what can he do?

Joey what can he do?
He's just told them it's against the government's own code.
It's also disrespectful to parliament.

It's about time this Speaker got more authorative and not let Johnson and his Ministers ride over rulings and the right procedures of parliament.

I hope this isn't just some token gesture as all his instructions to Johnson at PMQs fall on Johnson's selectively not hearing those instructions.

If codes have been broken as the Speaker says.
If the Chancellor cannot be trusted to keep to parliamentary correct rules and procedures.
Ensuring NO leaks re the budget before parliament is informed..

Then the breaking of rules and codes are serious and action should be taken.

Even if that would mean in the future Ministers having to go, if they breach rules and codes.

It's like Johnson and his Ministers think they haven't to abide by any rules or codes.

Let's hope this Speaker who I still think is hopeless, will decide to NOT let this drop.

If rules and codes have been broken by a Minister or Ministers, then they should go.

That won't happen here because this Speaker is weak and it seems Johnson just dismisses his authority.

When defence details were leaked when Theresa May was PM.
Even though she just suspected Gavin Williamson had done so..
She acted and sacked him.

When Patel was caught deceiving parliament and Theresa May as to meetings she'd had.
She had to go as well.

That's what SHOULD be the case, it won't under this PM who thinks only his authority matters.
I doubt too, there'll be much more said by this Speaker.
Who I think is the worst there's been from his performances so far.
