I'm watching episode 5 right now, but the season is so boring that I've had to come on here to distract myself from the boredom.
Yennefer & Dandelion are having good material this season imo, but the Geralt, Ciri & and the Terrible Triss's side of the plot could fit in Midnight Mass it's that ****ing boring. Does Netflix not know how to make good TV anymore?

Starting with the pros: 1. Yennefer had a great season imo. 2. Dandelion was good with what little material he had. The negatives: 1. Triss. But that's to be expected. What fundamentally needs to be fixed for Season 3: 1. The Witcher needs it's identity back, for anyone familiar with Berserk, Dororo or Claymore, it's clear that The Witcher has a lot in common with those stories. Instead what Season 2 went for was a big ensemble approach that's similar to GOT, which I loved GOT don't get me wrong, but The Witcher's structure and GOT structure are totally different, and imo it caused problems for The Witcher in Season 2 as Geralt spent a whole season not really doing anything, and we had characters leading episodes that weren't intended to be leading storylines, but were there to support Geralt's POV. So the creators need to understand the source material better imo. 2. For two seasons now the Show still haven't got Ciri's personality down at all, I get that she's younger in the Show so she won't be exactly like she was in The Witcher 3 Video Game, but they're not even the same person away from sharing the same name. Obviously I'm putting all of the blame on the writers here as they're writing the scripts for Ciri, and they hired the actress to play Ciri, so if she's not good enough to take on the part then that's the writers fault, or whoever is in charge of doing the casting.
