TV license shouldn't exist at all but yes I agree, if it must exist, it should be free for those on low income.

We scrapped live telly years ago, went back for a bit with a 2 year Sky deal, utter garbage so we got rid again as soon as the 2 year contract was finished. Don't miss it at all.

the situation wont change until the charter is renewed and i hope the licence is ditched then, but realistically, it wont be dumped it will just transform into something else

It has some decent shows but nothing you can't get elsewhere on streaming platforms .

Only time I miss Sky+ is when Love Island is on, because ITV Hub is sometimes a bit crap.
