He's probably going to "reveal" what we all already suspect deep down: that Charles and Camilla's relationship never actually fully ended and they were romantically involved throughout William and Harry's entire childhoods (and they were probably very aware of dad's "close friend"). That would make it very complicated to get completely on board with them finally becoming "official" all those years later.

RICHARD KAY: What's made Harry appear to change his tune about 'wonderful woman' Camilla? Deafening silence from Montecito after the Queen gave her ultimate approval to Charles' wife in her historic Platinum Jubilee message [Eight months before her death, Princess Diana sat down to watch a television programme that had been billed as the biggest ever live debate on the future of the monarchy. In reality, the show was a shambolic, ill-tempered and deeply unpleasant affair which even its contributors condemned as no better than a cockfight. But Diana, in her Kensington Palace apartment that evening in early January 1997, was mesmerised. As were her two companions, sitting either side of her on the striped sofa — Prince William and Prince Harry. As three of the nation's best-loved royals, they had more at stake, of course, than perhaps anyone else who had tuned in. The programme reached its raucous zenith when the audience, some 3,000 strong, were asked whether Camilla Parker Bowles could ever be Queen, and to respond by holding up cue cards — blue for Yes, red for No. The vote resulted in a blizzard of red cards and a resounding No, but in Diana's sitting room the moment was broken by the then 12-year-old Prince Harry. 'Who's Camilla?' he asked in a small voice. As a knowing William smothered his laughter, Diana told her younger son that it was something he had to ask his father about….. …….Eight years after that nervous question, 'Who's Camilla?', Harry was in no doubt. During an interview to mark his 21st birthday in September 2005, he said he and William 'loved her to bits'. He went on: 'She's a wonderful woman and she's made our father very, very happy, which is the most important thing.' Warming to his theme, he added: 'Look at the position she's come into. Don't always feel sorry for me and William, feel sorry for her. We are grateful for her . . . we're very happy to have her around.' Should there have been any lingering doubts about the brothers' feelings for the duchess, who had married their father five months earlier, Harry emphasised: 'To be honest, she's always been very close to me and William. But no, she's not the wicked stepmother, I'll say that right now.'....] As in many ways, Harry then and the Harry now are like 2 different people. |

I'm sure Americans will be enthralled by the tales these two tell. Maybe if they stopped getting their sources to release stuff on their behalf the could finally have the privacy they say they crave.

you have to ask yourself why the queen decided to endorse Camilla after all these years at this specific time. It's not coincidence that's for sure

I think many are confusing privacy with freedom. He want's the freedom to say what he likes about who he likes. And who's to say he shouldn't, did he ask to be born into this pantomime?
Due to his family ties he will always be a target and never be able to live a fully normal life but he has the right have his say. This crosses over with the thread on what is and isn't funny, to me it seems like many don't like the book because many of the figures in it are deemed sacrosanct.

I have heard through the grapevine that The Queen is not in good health. That may be the reason she is endorsing this now rather than later... |

He is free to say what he wants...however maybe he should stop attacking his family. Lets see what he has to say. Harry moaned about being cut off financially by his father despite his evident wealth combined with that of Megan's......if he does discredit her maybe its a bit more revenge on his part |

Why should he, let him spill how he feels regardless this is cathartic it's not an attack. And even if it it were so what?
The public will decide how they feel once he explains list life experiences in his own words.

I'm sure she will take it with a pinch of salt... Camilla has held her own for years....all the obvious backlash she took. She just kept her head down and ultimately gained a lot of respect. Last edited by rusticgal; 13-02-2022 at 01:11 PM. |

Let’s be real here, there’s no bombshell.
Must be a quiet Sunday with no other news to tell. The way this piece of non news has been received is pretty predictable and hilarious though |
