it's like labour in scotland. They used to sweep the board there and were then wiped out. If that hadn't happened we would have had a couple of extra labour governments

Yeah that's true, and it's a hell of a lot easier to lose all your votes than to earn them back

Similar with the Lib Dems in South West England I guess, although generally our system 'protects' the big parties more

[Far-right leader Marine Le Pen has fallen behind
centrist Emmanuel Macron in the opinion polls
but millions of voters are still undecided.
It did not take long for the two-hour-45-minute clash
to burst into life.
The candidates confronted each other on the
cost of living, Russia, climate change and immigration.]

Nearly 3 hours
Long debate last night

Are we even surprised some members here support Le Pen? I didn't expect anything but still ended up disappointed.

Anyway, Macron will take it in the end with a lower score than in 2017 but the third and fourth rounds in June will determine how we will be able to govern. He probably will have the majority of seats but not by a landslide.

She can hide who she is by paying people to make her look less evil but she hasn't changed one bit in the end. She's still close with Nazis, fascists, racists, homophobics and all that kind of people.
At least her father was not hiding his revisionism and racist views (though his daughter is not doing a good job at it anyway). We see right through her. She's trash and showed it again last night when Macron ate her up just like in 2017. Her economics policy is a disaster and she knows it's a struggle and a weak point for her. She crashed again against Macron who knows all those topics by the back of his hand. She cracks under pressure so fast it's hilarious.

Enough talking about her. Despite having flaws, Macron is the right man for the job. Even though he was not my first choice, I had to vote for him in the first round to lower Le Pen's results. And I will proudly vote for him on Sunday to keep the evil away at least for the next 5 years.

So you only want members on here who support you and Macron?

That is not a very liberal view??

In fact it's rather oppressive

i reckon Le Pen, Baudet and greek nazi's of golden dawn could very much shake hands with each other

her islamophobia is already more than enough proof that she hasn't changed and is still the same racist, fascist she always has been

more islamophobia will only backfire on us all, with her plans to deport many islamic refugees, this will lead to many many terrorist attacks across europe

i of course #SayNoToFascism, next 5 years with Macron well after those 5 years they just have to come up with better candidates then if french people want any form of change for the good of the country, because taking a giant step down into a female version of hitler is of course an absolute no go

Tell me how many Christian churches have been burned down in France over the past 10 years and then talk about Islamophbia again.

Marine Le Pen
using the Right Wing of Italy Style.

She is concerned with Macron Taxes.

Could she still Win?

nope, macron will win easily. It's the usual pantomime, the media want a battle, and it just wont happen
