Default Both Finland and Sweden are to join Nato

By this summer.

Putin is Angry - Tough

[Finland and Sweden
took a major step towards joining Nato
on Wednesday,
after their prime ministers said
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine had changed
Europe’s “whole security landscape”
and “dramatically shaped mindsets”
in the Nordic countries.]

Ukraine isn't Nordic. Sweden and Finland were not part of the Soviet Union. Russia still won't be happy but its a very different political situation.

one of the other criteria to join nato is that it must be stable and not in conflict with another country when it joins, so ukraine couldnt join nato now for at least 20 or more years. Thats why ukraine have said they will now remain neutral

turkey thinks it can get a pay off in some form or another by dragging its heels. The bottom line is that it doesnt really matter because all the other nato countries have pledged to defend sweden and finland
