TROUBLED Federico is close to cracking up in the Big Brother house, The People can reveal.

Glaswegian Fed, 23, has threatened to quit twice and has had counselling sessions.

There are increasing concerns about the vicious abuse he dishes out - and signs that he is sexually confused.

Top TV psychologist Dr Kristina Downing - Orr warned: "If he stays in, he could lose it. His behaviour is disturbing."

She said: "He is showing signs of confused sexual identity. I wondered after he asked Scott to rub sun lotion on him instead of a girl."

A show spokesman said: "Psychotherapists are on hand 24 hours a day for housemates."

Worried bosses laid on extra security in case Fed was evicted on Friday - fearing he faced a hostile reception after calling girls "slags".

I think Fed is just bored and 'fed' up and is just seeing how far he can wind people up He knows exactly what he is doing.

There is no way he will walk - he just wants attention. But I do think the friendship with Scott and Ray is coming under pressure. If he wants to stay in, he needs those two on his side.

I heard somewhere that Fed saw a psychologist who advised him to tone it down a bit after his comments about women and his arguments with the others.

This would be in keeping with the way they handled Jade last year and got her to calm down slightly.
