Oh idk, it seems to be, very specifically, an issue with women’s football being highlighted and not men’s football

It's probably because today is the last day of the Women's Super League season.

I noticed the BBC took the football scores and tables panel off the Sport homepage recently, which was a bit annoying.

They also changed the colour of the live scores.

There's nothing wrong with women's football being highlighted, and i expect BBC are pushing it over the men's more because they show live women's games. But putting the fixtures ahead of the men's on their site is unrealistic. I've had the debate before, it's nothing against women as they excel in other sports, but compared to men's football, the quality of women's football in night and day.

ETA - My dislike of the BBC has nothing to do with their coverage and promoting women's football. Showing women's football is one of the few things they actually do right imo.

they only show women's football because they have no mens to show - they have lost most good sport to competitors

Being serious does this really matter? Just go to the League that you're interested in by typing the name into the BBC Sport search engine.

I guess you could argue they are promoting the matches which given they show them and not the prem is why its front page?

There's a site that's much faster/more reliable than any of those mentioned that We Bookies used to use but .. ... ... ... I cannot for the life of me remember what it is . Likewise for horses. Amazing the stuff you can use every day for a decade that just leaves your head when it's no longer relevant .
