[Champions League final: French minister to meet UEFA
over Paris stadium chaos as UK demands full investigation]

[France's sports minister will meet with UEFA
and other officials to discuss violent scenes
at the Champions League final.
French police have been criticised for repeatedly
firing tear gas and pepper spray at
Liverpool fans waiting to get into the
stadium in Paris on Saturday.

Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, the sports minister,
said the meeting later this morning - which will
include police, stadium officials and
the French Football Association - aims
to "draw lessons" from the event.]

If you knew anything about football you would know this is normal, alot of people go to soak up the moment hence all the fan parks.

It's the scummy local French that's kicked all the off breaking into the stadiums and the French police attacking innocent kids and pregnant women.

The French are an absolute disgrace of a nation and for years they have treated foreign fans badly

liverpool are always the same .... blame someone else for their own problems. Thousands tried to get into the ground illegally .... Pregnant women shouldnt be going to events with massive crowds, thats not the fault of the police

Liverpool fans acting like scum and then playing crying victims afterwards. Where have I seen this before?

Have you seen the mess they left in the parks/streets? I'm not condoning tear gassing kids of course, but to suggest this was just some nice friendly groups of people on a family day out to the footie is obviously not true. Classic English football yobs, as happens every world cup/international competition.

the bbc had a story yesterday saying how wonderful liverpool were and how nasty the police were. It had a comments section where 8 thousand people said it was the fans fault for trying to break into the ground and use illegal tickets. So the BBC deleted the story Thats what we pay a licence fee for

Were those 8000 people in attendance, or were they sitting at home in Manchester?

It was the locals who were storming the gates...the french had to repeatedly close turnstiles. The French authorities were also turning fans with genuine tickets away, one fan given an official ticket from andy Robertson's was turned away.

Here is a video showing locals storming gates.

https://twitter.com/NickParrottTV/st...1%2Fframe.html

As to the mess TS is bleating on about...just shows how unprepared the french were by not having the correct amenities available in abundance.

**** show from the French.

France's sports minister has said fans without tickets caused initial crowd problems at the Champions League final in Paris, despite strong criticism of the event's policing on Saturday.

Amélie Oudéa-Castéra blamed a "mass gathering" of supporters with "fake tickets" for the chaos at the stadium.

She also said local youths trying to force their way in made things worse.

It was French gangs you could clearly here French talking people pushing their way through the turnstiles and it was the French jumping the fence and also French speaking people had to be removed from other peoples seats but yes a bitter Man U fan knows whats best, ask Rangers how they were treating in Europe or Chelsea and Tottenham in previous year or go to other countries and ask their clubs what troubles they faced.

Everytime they have Paris host the final there is always major events following it they are incapable

Don't get me started on the French police blocking Liverpool fans under a narrow bridge then tear gassing them and you can see so many videos of innocent people being tear gassed for no reason including an 8 year old French kid

The police failed so many times

Didn't check if anyone had tickets at the checkpoints before the turnstile

Attacked innocent people

Targeted kids, pensioner and Pregnant women

Told all the journalists around it was local people causing trouble then changed their minds

Threatened a journalists to delete all video footage

After the game had finsih tried antagonising Liverpool fans to no avail
