Rangers, Eintracht Frankfurt and Football Supporters Europe (FSE) are to send a dossier of ‘recommendations’ to Uefa following the treatment of fans at the Europa League final in Seville.

Rangers have already reported major concerns over the lack of water within the stadium which the club said caused “severe distress” to many supporters given the searing temperatures within the stadium. They have now identified “overzealous” search procedures at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium which resulted in police removing battery packs, earphones and make-up bags - all items which were permitted.

Times

They also confiscated all our Tifo for the start of the game despite it all having been agreed a week in advance

[France has hit out at what it says
was "industrial-scale" ticket fraud at Saturday's
Champions League final despite a
row over the game's policing.

Ministers acknowledged
"difficulties" in managing crowds at the
final in Paris, but say organised fraud
was the "root cause" of the problems.]

With all UEFAs money you would think they would be more secure

Only release tickets on the app with a personalised pin or something

Not hundreds of roundbellied Orangemen popping aneurisms because they spent all morning drinking only beer before attending a football stadium in a hot country.

it's fans going without tickets and then paying for fakes when they get there. The simple solution is to only travel if you have a ticket

Liverpool have plenty history of doing exactly the above and then blaming the authorities. People seem to have short memories

Nicely summed up. I agree.

Interior minister Gérald Darmanin said "massive, industrial-scale" ticket fraud had caused Liverpool fans to turn up en masse, and said that of about 30 arrests made at the Stade de France "more than half concerned British citizens". He stated that there had been 30,000 to 40,000 Liverpool fans with fake tickets or without tickets outside the stadium.

Speaking as a non-football fan, doesn’t everyone hate English football fans?

Depends how you judge it? But there are far worst fans especially in the Eastern European countries and Italy but history is always looked upon

I'll let you have that one.

But it would be a ditaster for all clubs. All the best players would leave the English clubs. Last time it happened Italy took over us and it took us a decade to get back to having the best teams in Europe. Poor Everton were set to dominate Europe for years to come and we've never recovered, yet.
