Default 3D-printed guns are appearing on British streets

[3D-printed guns are appearing on
British streets - and the police
are taking notice

3D-printed guns are appearing on
the streets of the UK,
with the files needed to build the
firearms easy to find online.
Experts say members of the
far right often share instructions
about how to make the weapons
online in preparation for a so-called race war.]

Spoiler:

A FGC 9 being fired

[How easy is it to make a 3D-printed gun?

3D-printed guns are often talked about
as cheaper and easier to obtain than
other firearms, but it's not that clear cut.

Rajan Basra is a senior research fellow
at the International Centre for the
Study of Radicalisation at
King's College London.
He has been closely following
the advent of 3D-printed guns.]

["It's a very simplified view to say
that with a couple of hundred pounds
you could 3D print a gun," Dr Basra explains.]

the technology and designs for the guns have been around for years already. Criminals who want to get hold of a gun can get a real gun without the hassle of printing something that is probably totally unsafe and unreliable

yeah, but the point is they are neither reliable or safe, and given that criminals can get hold of real guns easily, it's just not an issue, no matter how much some people want it to be

appear to be a far right group.
