in light of Pop Idol's comeback, i thought let me create TiBB's Celebrity Pop Idol

i'll be the host




so i'll need 3 people as judges


and i'll also need 1 or 2 people as producers (preferably someone with experience of organizing games, Strictly Jake or Kate) to help me cast our line up (our top 24, 3 groups of 8, 12 male celebs, 12 female celebs)

no, you are scoring the acts scores from 1 to 10 (and yes in beginning rounds i do include lower marks 1-4 because we got plenty of acts to sort out)


in terms of music choices, that's more made up based upon what you think the specific celeb might be able to sing and what sort of performance you can imagine him/her doing with that

1. Tina O'Brien - Corrie actress

almost starting to feel like ''from soapstar to popstar'' now, Tina is known for being a soapie fan favourite, and also for being in the first of the ''barbie and ken'' pairings on strictly, can she do well here?

2. Jennifer Metcalfe - hollyoaks actress

does this soap diva have what it takes to also make it as a pop diva?

3. Paige Sandhu - emmerdale actress

she committed murder in emmerdale, lets hope she won't commit murder on our pop idol stage with possibly some killer vocals, sorry couldn't resist, but we are happy we got the most trending soapstar of current times signed up

4. Shona McGarty - eastenders actress

currently one of more popular eastenders actresses among younger age group audiences, what will she be like as a performer, we can't wait to find out

5. Maya Jama - TV and Radio presenter

one of hottest, newest rising stars in the tv industry, besides AJ Odudu that is, she looks like a popstar, but can she move like a popstar and more importantly can she sound like a popstar?

6. Katherine Ryan - comedian

she might be the princess of comedy, but how will she do outside her comfort zone, can she sing?

7. Lindsay Lohan - actress, media personality

was quite the hot and happening teen star, then got in a lot of trouble, but slowly finding her way upwards again, can she make the ultimate career comeback even better through this show?

8. Oti Mabuse - dancer

she might be considered ''Miss Strictly'' as the national treasure that she is, and also known for being a judge/coach on The Greatest Dancer and is used to mean judges, yes looking at you Craig, but can this queen also sing?

9. Alex Scott - women's footballer, tv presenter

one of more famous faces from english women's football, made history on strictly for being the first ever women's footballer signing and dancing with the dance god Neil de Jaunsse, also known for being one of new presenters for The One Show, but can she sing?

10. Emma Raducanu - tennis player

biggest surprise for britain in current WTA tennis tour by shocking everyone to be the youngest ever to win a slam, tipped by the media to become the WORLD'S YOUNGEST SPORTS BILLIONAIRE, having many endorsement deals since, including Elle, Evian, HSBC, has got a massive following among many teens on social media, but can she sing and perform?

11. Lisa Nandy - politician

where there is a farage we do need some decent opposition too, and where Nigel is man of the people, Lisa might be the woman of the people, how will she do on this show?

12. Denise van Outen - actress, presenter

has done strictly, check, has done dancing on ice, check, now signed up for celeb pop idol, we know she can perform like a queen, but can she also sing other than musical theatre?

now how it works

Round 1 is a quite simple ''audition round'' group 1, group 2, group 3 (basically of 4 male and 4 female celebs) not competing against each other in terms of all for each other, but we will first select them down ultimately the best 6 male and the best 6 females for the liveshows

so Round 1, only 1 will be eliminated and 3 will go through from each group and each half, leaving us with 9 males and 9 females for Round 2 where they will be again paired up in randomized order, for trio performances and one solo save me to the liveshows performance

in liveshows we will each week go from top 12 to top 11, top 9, top 7, top 6, top 5, semi final and grand final


as for scoring, i'll send the judges pm's for each round
