I'm not totally against the idea, but if they opt for plastic, blown up or beefed up wannabes who are just interested in the fame then nah. There are some influencers out there that are "normal" people, and imo they could be amazing!

Hopefully this isn't true. They haven't even got a house yet or put out applications and they already said the cast would be from all walks of life, so surely they wouldn't want to screw that up and lose viewership.

'Misogynist' influencer Andrew Tate banned from Facebook and Instagram

Self-described "misogynist" influencer Andrew Tate has been banned from
Meta platforms Instagram and Facebook for violating policies on ‘dangerous
organisations and individuals.’

The parent company of the two platforms said it had removed Mr Tate's
official accounts for breaching its rules around dangerous organisations or
individuals and that he was now banned from using either Facebook or
Instagram.

Mr Tate rose to fame when he appeared on the reality TV show Big Brother in
2016, however, he was removed from the programme after a video surfaced
online which appeared to show him attacking a woman with a belt - a clip he
claimed had been edited.

He has since gained further notoriety online for a number of comments about
women, including suggesting that they "bear some responsibility" for being
assaulted - an incident for which he was banned from Twitter.

They should have gone back to the original format, of regular people from the street with regular jobs . If BB just tracks down Instagram Barbie & Ken's & shallow influencers ,then they might aswell call it Love Island part 2 . I bet nobody will be over 30 either .

Imo that's where they failed with the series back in 2018 ,too many young people & not enough diversity in age groups.

The 2018 crew had a typcial BB age range (18-32) but geographically, ethnically and sexually they were diverse enough. Certainly not obvious LI types.
