Doesn't it make you cringe when British YouTubers half way pretend to be American by using words like "cell phone"/"elevator"/"trunk"?
I know they're not the sharpest country in the world, but I'm sure they could understand via the context what words mean. It's kinda rude to Americans that some British people change their lingo for them.

Doesn’t bother me. People take what they want from American culture (obviously-excluding the guns) all-over the world and the British Isles is no exception.

It's not just "bro" , they also say "brah" .. which sounds like the underwear.

And some Americans are dumb, I remember the once someone from the US couldn't name a country beginning with U when being surveyed, and sadly it wasn't Satire.
