I’m using Ruby’s return as the time-landmark since Ruby was the link who dotted Stacey and Bradley together in the first place (2006) and it was when she returned (2018) that the intermittent toxicity of Stacey’s character mellowed-out into consistent Queen-like archetypal characterisation, which (as far as the latter goes) suggests that the sound moral compass she’s grown over the past four years is such-that she takes much-fuller accountability for what happened between Archie and Bradley. There’s still a question-mark, ’though, over how-long she should’ve been in prison for after the Archie-Bradley business, esp. in-light of the fact that she wasn’t actually ill when she killed Archie and it took her years to really hold herself accountable for her indirect role in Bradley’s death (her sleeping with Max. again was probably indirect proof of that, and it really was quite shameful). What do you think?
