[Phone Scams: The woman who lost £1400 in 4 hours]



Amazing Lady
who got a message from her Daughter
it had her daughter's photo on the phone
she (the scammer) told her mum with text,
that she has a new phone number.

She was at work
the mother then
at home had more text from the Evil Scammer
posing as her daughter, said she needed urgently
£1,400
can she send it to Elliot, her mate at work.
The Mum could not remember her workmates names

So she sent the money


Her husband has Parkinson's Disease.

Her Daughter contacted her on Facebook
Saying missed call.
Then the mum knew it was a scam.

then told her they will pay her the £1,400
that was scammed

Will never understand this, why hand over money without soeaking to the daughter....madness

Because the Mother
was at work.

Gets home Sick Husband to deal with,
So very tired

Also it was the Photo of her Daughter
on her phone text
and the words
that trickled her.



She went that Lunch Show
to show other people how she was scammed

They took my brother’s mother inlaw for 450 two months ago
Sent message saying this is my new number can you pay for the phone claiming to be her daughter

And a guy that bought my truck recently got taken for a 1000 agreed to buy vehicle on eBay sent the money as a deposit went to Collect from a bogus house
