Usually I'd ask my mother this, but she's on holiday so I'll post it here
![]() I washed my white shirts and t-shirts, and somehow I got a navy blue t-shirt mixed up in there, and needless to say when the wash came out, all the whites are a faint color of dark blue. The blue isn't that prominent, but its obvious that the white is no longer the white it was once. So has anyone ever had a similar accident happen, and what did you do to fix it? I'm hoping I can just buy some sort of special washing powder (vanish?) to get the white back into it. Usually I wouldn't be that bothered, but it was all my Armani ones that were being washed, and they weren't cheap ![]() Thanks ![]() - Mark |

Yeah, that happens to me. All my white t-shirts are a shade of blue. I just wash everything together, don't bother to separate.
I think you need something like this - http://www.dylon.co.uk/household/FabrCare/Colorun.htm |

Try vanish first... depending on the heat etc it could work, but otherwise the fabric could actually now be dull blue.. which means vanish won't get rid of it. (Okay...I have no clue about whether 40c is a high heat wash or not, I'm not yet independent in feeding myself, nevermind washing my own clothes).

You can get some stuff to remove it. I have done it. Can't remember what it was called though.

Also, get organic soap power, and a lemon cut in half.... Rub in the soap powder with the half a lemon.

I googled 'colour run remover' and got http://www.dylon.co.uk/household/FabrCare/Colorun.htm
It tells you on that site where they sell it. There's also an online ordering. |

She has a lemon-organic-aloe vera-wicca-natural-oak-wielding cult, and they're not afraid to use it.
