Default New Brazil President Lula (Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva)

No idea if he can, last?

Lula to be sworn in as Brazil president
as Bolsonaro flies to USA

[Crowds of people have gathered in the
Brazilian capital, Brasilia,
for the inauguration of Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva
as president.
The veteran left-wing politician, known
widely as Lula, also led the country between
2003 and 2010 - and defeated Jair Bolsonaro
in October's poll.

There is tight security for Sunday's ceremony
amid fears that Bolsonaro supporters
may try to disrupt it.

Mr Bolsonaro himself will not attend,
having left Brazil on Friday.

A sea of Lula supporters gathered
in front of Congress since early in
the morning - decked out in the
red colour of his Workers' Party.
They travelled to see their leader
sworn in - but also for a celebration.]

The BBC making out the right wing crowd are terrorists. Who'd have thunk it?

They could tell you anything they like and you'd take their word for it. That's how they control you.

Thanks to these claims by the media. Lula and the left are the good guys who everyone should support and Bolsonaro and the right are the baddies who everyone should detest.

The media has already made your minds up for you. And nothing has even happened yet.

Ever get the feeling you're being cheated?

Bolsonaro supporters invade Brazil's presidential palace

[Supporters of former Brazilian
president Jair Bolsonaro have invaded the
country's presidential palace, Congress
and ministries' building,
according to witnesses.

Images on social media show what looks like
thousands of people,
many draped in the yellow and green
of the Brazil flag,
streaming up the steps of the
National Congress building
in the capital city.

It is understood the supporters broke through
a blockade set up by security forces and
invaded the ministries building
and Congress, video shows.

Protesters also invaded the
Planalto Palace's car park,
according to CNN Brasil.

Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula Silva
is currently in Sao Paulo state,
on an official trip.]

Good Job the president is not there.

Did you know that a bite from a Brazilian wandering spider can cause an erection that last's for up to four hours.

Thanks for tuning into Alf's facts of the day.
