i think Sunak comes across really badly on this. After his speech about integrity and accountability, if there was even a sniff of bullying, Rabb should have been out on his ass months ago. Also, Sunak will know perfectly well whether Raab is a bully or not, he doesn't need an investigation, so i find the whole thing rather distasteful. He obviously doesn't want to sack him and that's that. Like i said earlier. This is the beginning of the end for Sunak

In the last few moments, Dominic Raab has resigned from his posts as justice secretary and deputy prime minister.

In his resignation letter, Raab says he feels "duty bound to accept the outcome of the inquiry" - but points out that the report by Adam Tolley KC "dismissed all but two of the claims levelled against me".

We've not seen the report yet, we'll bring it to you when we have it.

"I also believe that its two adverse findings are flawed and set a dangerous precedent for the conduct of good government," Raab writes.

In a resignation statement posted on Twitter, Mr Raab said: "Whilst I feel duty
bound to accept the outcome of the inquiry, it dismissed all but two of the
claims levelled against me.

"I also believe that its two adverse findings are flawed and set a dangerous
precedent for the conduct of good government."

Mr Raab added: "In setting the threshold for bullying so low, this inquiry has set
a dangerous precedent. It will encourage spurious complaints against
ministers, and have a chilling effect on those driving change on behalf of your

government - and ultimately the British people."

What took him so long.

I note he says he doesn't believe he's bullied anyone.
Near all bullies say just that.
They call it fun or banter.
Immaterial of how the ones on the receiving end feel.

Good riddance to him.

I suspect he was a pretty bad boss but I have a bit of sympathy with the concerns over setting the bar for bullying very low, it will make people feel unable to criticise anyone in the workplace

i only came across one bully during my career, but he was a manager and he made peoples lives hell. You can voice your displeasure without bullying, it's easy.

Raab is exactly the type to be a bully, he was adamant that he wouldn't resign unless the report proved he was a bully. The report was done by a lawyer with no skin in the game. He is guilty

If the tories win the next election, i bet he is back in the cabinet then

Isn't this the same tactic they tried using on Priti Patel?

Difference is that Boris was a strong leader who stood by his colleague and Sunak is a wet lettuce.

Really no way to comment to that effect without knowing the nature and context of the two incidents that were verified to be bullying. It MAY be perfectly clear that the things said and done went clearly beyond professional criticism.

There's literally no excuse I can think of for unprofessional (negative) engagement in any workplace.
