yeah he should have let her go. followed her home and then barged into her house and attack her. That would be proportionate.

It shouldn't have got that violent, but she shouldn't have barged behind the counter either.

What the workers should've done was try to escort her out of the Shop, even if they had to use a little bit of force it probably would've been better than constantly hitting her.
