The work self and personal-life self can be quite different (some people are so introverted that they get by in total silence when they’re just doing their thing in private but let rip with verbiage after chit-chat when they are put in those social work situations, because they hardly talk outside the office/hospital) but whether they tally up or they don’t it’s still a thing that people are aware of (making an effort to be a little social while keeping out of excess gossip and drama, and then some).
