no surprise to me
middle east have been known for a long time that they are anti-LGBTQ+ as well as condescending towards women the fact that this is considered news, makes me think they have not much else to report in the summer

In Lebanon, Culture Minister Mohammad Mortada announced on Wednesday that he has
asked the Lebanese interior ministry to “take all necessary measures to ban showing” Barbie in the country.
