[TOKYO, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Japan said on
Tuesday it will start releasing into the sea more than 1 million metric tons of treated radioactive water from the wrecked Fukushima nuclear power plant on Aug. 24, going ahead with a plan heavily criticised by China] China has now stated no more Japan Seafood will be bought. (ref:BBCworldNewsHD) It makes sense Could Japan, not, hold onto to that treated water? Yes they could have. Massive Error, |

Can you dump radioactive waste in the ocean?
Since 1993, ocean disposal has been banned by international treaties. Last edited by Zizu; 24-08-2023 at 11:59 AM. |
