Yes the one lady was very professional and understood she had no right to challenge him. The rest acted like feral dummies.

This is why the house needs to be in a more private area

Yes from the video it seems like the production office is actually across the road from the house

She really didn't like him realising that the workers have to cross the road to go back and forth to get to the house.

In fact that was what she was specifically asking him to delete and not show.

TBF, these 'audit' channels are purely there to troll a response. They dress themselves up as being a 'service' but getting a bit of aggro from a badly informed security guard is content gold to them. The guy isn't being harassed, he is getting exactly what he intentionally went there for.

Yes, you can legally film sites from the street but it's 100% understandable that it's very rude to film people without their permission.

To an extent.

While being legal on a public street, filming others without their permission is very rude to many and many just don't like it. It could easily be argued that he started off not being nice at all and that their responses were based on that.

You can't be rude to others and then gaslight them because they minded it.

if he had just asked for permission I would be 100% on his side, but then he wouldn't have gotten the response that he needs for content and those clicks.

Why on earth would you ask for permission for something you can legally do they can see he is filming, so why walk over to him if you dont want to be filmed...Do these idiots head butt CCTV cameras as well?

Because it's polite...

Legal and moral are not the same things

Them walking over to him was a response to his rude behaviour and what he wanted of course. As I say, these audit channels rely on provoking people for content. It's hard to claim that he was being 'harrassed' when he instigated the situation intentionally is all I am really saying.

I disagree, after watching his daily videos since 2020, it's not what he wanted at all. This auditor has many videos that show pleasant human interaction where he gets factory tours and also many where company employees will stand and chat about the company with him for ages. It's all very informative.

Fans of big brother should be embracing these live interactions, not moaning about it.

That's cool, we can't all see everything the same way.

I am not saying that he doesn't post wholesome content as well, but the numbers don't lie... The aggro ones are the ones that make bank. It's just how YT works.

I should also be clear, I don't think the security guards did a good job at all here. I just object to someone claiming to be harassed when they were rude first.

I hate being filmed... If I was on a public street and someone had a camera on me I would want to know why

I suggest you email your local council about that. Unless you live in the sticks, there will be one on you on every corner. If not contact the dvla about dash cams, and householders about door cams...Cause this man is merely doing what they do but doing it manually rather than automatically

I can't change the fact that CCTV etc is there, of course.

I am clearly talking about private members of the public.

I shouldn't have to clarify that.

So say your at a music festival or the pub or something and you are walking past a group of people taking selfies and videos of the place...would you expect them to stop filming as you walk past?

What the hell is this guys problem? He's just walking around being a total Karen and being rude to people who are just trying to do their jobs. What a loser.

No.

Of course, being in the background of someone's image as an incidental passerby is not the issue.

If I was at that festival and a stranger had a camera on me or my friends/ family as the focus though I would def want to know why.

Anyhow, a commerical festival is not a public space and the event holder sets the policies. It's not the same thing.

But if you work at the bb complex you should understand why people are filming, like you say, its not the same as someone filming your family, that would be creepy, but getting all hot and bothered cause someone is filming a company building that films people for a living is just ridiculous.

Actually I think it is very rude.

If someone is filming something in public i would never dream of going up to them and telling them to stop. in fact i would avoid them at all costs to make sure i wasnt in their film.

Someone filming your family on a public street would be creepy, but it would be legal. By your arguments so far it should be ok and permission shouldn't need to be asked, because they are already being filmed by CCTV.

It's just polite to ask first and respect people if they object. I personally extend that to any private property personally, in the same way that it is illegal to film someone's private house from the street. But, that's just me I admit.

It's worth noting that the company only films people for a living with their permission.

You could compare these security guards to hamas.

They both know the consequences of their actions but they still do it

As I say, I agree that the security guards did a bad job here.

But they didn't instigate the situation by being the first to act rude, they simply made the mistake of reacting to the provocation. They need to be trained better.

There are no good guys in this video.

A lot of these 'auditors' feel like jobsworths without a job, who like to push people's buttons just to get a reaction, I'm not really sure what they get out of it.

The bigger ones make a decent income from it via AdSense etc on Youtube.
