Default What should be done for BB9?

BB5 was a huge success because it changed from the 4 other BB's

An alarm was introduced, they had a big theme which carried on throughout the series, and they had a twist which had never been seen before.

With a new house, do you think BB9 should have some changes made to make it a big series? And if so, what?

Better, well thought-out twists. And soundproof the house for eff sake!

In Mexico, the theme for Big Brother 2 was conspirancy, basically, all the rules were the same appart from one, it was allowed to talk about nominations. This could work in here, mostly because it seems that all the housemates are desperate to talk about it, it'll be a nice relief and experiment for UK Big Brother.

By the way, some people will say: Why Mexico's BB wasn't succesfull as the spanish one or brazilian one? well the answer is because they tired all the viewers with it cause they made 8 Big Brothers in just 4 years, different versions and themes, the last one was so ridiculous, it was called Big Brother the challenge, they had 12 housemates as usual but everytime there was an eviction they were adding a new celebrity housemate, it was 6 months long and everybody went off it, was way too much.

Better twists that won't be an anti-climax or backfire in some way.

Also, maybe they should change some of the rules... like discussing nominations. Maybe they should allow that next year. Almost everyone has got away with it this year without punishment so they might as well.

Having said that, the punishments should be stricter, fairer (in the sense that everyone gets pulled up for whatever rule they broke, and not just certain people while other housemates get away with it) and more effective punishments. Bring back the "Three formal warnings and you're out" method they used on Kitten in BB5.

And another idea... before the housemates go in the House, the producers should tell them to think seriously before going into the DR and asking to leave. Then, each time a housemate asks to leave, open the door to the side and chuck them out right away, as soon as they ask, no telling them to think about it and come back later! But don't tell the housemates that this will happen before they enter, this way we'll get rid of the attention seekers and people who genuinely want to go will get to go. After one attention seeker really is thrown out, it sets an example and other housemates will think twice before doing something like going in the Diary Room, making fake sobbing noises with no tears, and asking to leave.

Also, better tasks as well. Seriously, the tasks are really lame sometimes.

I would also like to see more individual tasks, where the HMs compete against each other like they did in the box task in BB6. The winner should earn immunity from eviction on that week or some special reward.

My plan for BB9, ive sort of tried to use some of the BB stuff from around the world.

I'd have the housemates enter without a crowd, just friends and family there. There is no eviction for two weeks.

Saturday night will be task night. The housemate who wins will get a Veto Card and can use this to remove themselve from nominations, or to save someone else.

Housemates will nominate live on E4 at 7pm each Monday, (15mins delay to block out bad language). The housemate with the Veto will be called to the diary room after BB announces who is up. BB then calls the Veto HM to diary room where the other HMs will watch on the plasma as the Veto HM decides weather to save someone, or themselves.

Weekly tasks begin on Sunday - Thursday. If they pass they get a party on Thursday night, and luxary shop arrives on Sat.

If you add a bit of Y2K , girl power and wrestling when it was entertaining you effectivly have a well thought out plan to re-create the start of the millenium.

Working backwards and going 'back to basics' is NOT going to work.

The whole format will have to be altered , and it will be. This year has gotten some pretty desperate numebrs , and theirs a new house next year. Its gonna be big. I cant wait for it already.
