More police presence in high crime areas. Stop and search. More investment in communities. Better fund deprived schools.

If you use a knife you should get a full life sentence without ever being free

People are not afraid of going to prison anymore, knowing they will never be free again if they do use a knife will have an impact

Nothing else is going to work
