Default Don\'t miss BBLB on Monday?

Now... if I heard Davina right, she said we're not to miss it... and she wouldn't say why.

If I did hear right, that does say that a new housemate is going in, considering that the replacement housemates in BB3 went in during BBLB shows.

If so... woohoo

I'm not so sure. The problem with the contract that the housemates sign is that it's very specific about non-returning once evicted. The rules are in additum to the contract, and the contract isn't particularly flexible with regards changing.

Second, if she did go back in, there would be very good cause for the ITC to investigate, as the entire eviction would have been null and void. Further, it would be deemed by the law of this country that it's deception. Ergo, I don't believe she will be.

I've been wondering about Davina's 'big decision for one of the housemates' for this Satuday's live task, the twist this week could well be that one of the housemates either has to pick the gender of a new housemate, select a new housemate, or something like that. Unlikely I know, but there aren't very many 'big decisions' left that are original.

Aaaanyway, something's going to happen, lol.

Eviction is unlikely, and has been done previously.

Previous person, a possible but a semi risky decision based on which year the person is from; it would almost certainly have to be someone from another series.

Picking a group is possible, but again, has been done in a similar form back in BB3.

Chosing a HoH... a possible providing you don't believe the BB editorial team when they say they wouldn't do that.

I guess we shall all see tomorrow, except for those people who have intimate knowledge of the show. (I wonder if any of those read this forum..)

Another (unlikely) possible new housemate: HM from Australian BB that is running at the moment.

Anouska's early eviction was pretty unfair, but if it's true that she's going back in it's a monumentally bad decision. It will look too much like the producers favouring one HM, to put her back in without so much as a public vote.
Also I don't think it would reflect well on her. She would look like being totally desperate for fame and attention.

If this happens I'll start agreeing with Sticks about Endemol and welk stalls.

I've just read a post on the Digital Spy forum - tomorrow's Sun is saying that they're going to give the winner of a quiz in tomorrow's task the chance to swap with an HM of another country.

South Africa is mentioned.

That doesn't explain how they're going to make up the numbers again though. Maybe bring in 2 from other countries.

I wonder if they've all got valid passports.

Hmmmmm. Doubt this very much too. The gain from this would be minimal for the show, other than a stupid expense, the high chance that the housemate will be a total flop with an accent noone likes/understands, and there's the severe risk something could happen to the housemate that's sent away.

Too risky, too pointless, don't see it happening.

And I don't see why any of the HMs would be willing to give up their place in the British house for a place in a foreign BB where they would find it difficult to fit in.

I wonder if this is a red herring and The Sun have got it wrong again, like they did with the naming the housemates story.

The Sun has 'insiders' in Endemol apparently, which I find funny considering only a few privileged members of the production team are aware of what a given 'surprise' is going to be. And those members are the most senior members of the team (ie, producers, directors, and house editor).

But hey, if the Sun want to believe they have reliable informers, or good sources... or even good predictions, good for them.

I personally don't trouch tabloids, and never will... much rather read a broad.

Here is the article from The Sun

A BIG Brother housemate is to be whisked off to join the South African version of the show in a shock new twist, The Sun can reveal.

And a contestant from the African programme will be jetted across to step into the housemate’s shoes in Britain.

TV bosses hope the move will stun viewers who have so far called Big Brother 4 a big bore.

Last night a telly source said: “This is the first time anything like this has been done and it will be a complete shock to the gang.

“It’s going to give the programme a jolt. To say it will shake up the housemates is a complete understatement. It’s going to come out of the blue.”

The British housemates, still reeling from losing Jon and Federico last night, will lose a third after completing their Saturday task — which normally lets them into the party room.

Tonight’s challenge will be a general knowledge quiz — tackled by two of the housemates only.

The two players have to be chosen by the group and the rules state “the contestants should be as evenly matched as possible in terms of knowledge in order to ensure a fair contest”.

Each housemate will go to a bedroom to be tested on their knowledge of the world by Big Brother.

Non-playing housemates are not allowed to assist either playing housemate during the challenge.

The gang may still have their night in the treat room. But whoever wins will be called into the diary room and told they are leaving.

They will then be taken 6,000 miles away to Johannesburg by a producer.

They will not be allowed to tell the rest of the house where they are going.

And the gang will not even know they are getting a new housemate until the new contestant walks through the doors of the set in Elstree.

Meanwhile, the African contestants will be carrying out an identical task — and the winner will head in the opposite direction with a producer.

The African programme has been running at the same time as our version. The 12 contestants have been drawn from different countries across the continent.

They have been kept busy with tasks including learning each other’s national anthems.

But they still bicker and row, just like housemates on our series and they have been up to the usual saucy Big Brother antics.

One of the gang, transvestite Mwisho Mwampamba from Tanzania, has wowed housemates with his drag act. Cherise Makabale, from

Zambia, announced on her arrival that her boobs were her greatest assets.

And one of the racier bits of their show is “shower hour” where housemates are filmed washing.

Namibian Stefan Ludik — the only white contestant — simulated an orgy with girls in the Jacuzzi.

And he teamed up with Alexander Holi of Kenya to spray the girls with a fire extinguisher.

The African series runs for 15 weeks, instead of our nine weeks. So far, no one has been booted out and they will have their first eviction tomorrow night with votes being cast throughout Africa.

And while the British winner will scoop Ł70,000, the African winner grabs Ł59,000 — a fortune in the world’s poorest continent.

Last night it was still unclear how Big Brother plans to smuggle the housemate out of the country.

And it is not known whether the housemates will swap back, or finish the series in the foreign country.

The source added: “I think the British housemate will be bowled over at first.

“But it could be seen as a bit of a booby prize as they will lose their profile in this country.

“Whatever happens, it’s Big Brother’s best stunt yet.”
Big Brother said last night: “We never confirm or deny rumours.”

Default I knew we were gonna have an Internation swap!

Very different and very interesting. But I wanted the swap to be with Australia not Africa. The Australians are really saucy and I watch the Aus BB after ours finished so I could of seen our Hm in there house! Plus the Aussie hm would add a sense of playful ness to the house, I was reading the African website for BB and it said one of the contestants was giving out death threats to others in th house. That would get them kicked out in our house.
Can you imagine someone giving Tania and Nush a death threat!

I watched Big Brother South Africa when I was in Tanzania last year and I have to say that it was much more raunchy than the English one.

This could be interesting...

I think that a swap with another housemate from a foreign Big Brother is a worse idea than the rich/poor side divide! The only benefit would be that the new housemate would have no idea about what has been happening in the outside world.
