The discussion on the C4 Big Brother forum See this link suggests that for a time the line to evict Cameron was not working.
If this was the case, how did it influence the result in a tight vote If this is the case, does it not seem od that it delivered the result requested by Graham Norton. ![]() |

Oh for *beep* sake!
I've heard this time and time again; and it doesn't matter what 'reality TV' show it is. First off, there are four voting mediums, all of them must work for the vote to be declared LEGAL. The vote is ADJUDICATED by an OUTSIDE body to Endemol, if they decided there was a problem, they would immediately report it to the police. Second, has the sheer idea that this is: a) Sour Grapes b) A popularly employed ploy to get people to dial a specific number c) The old idea of people bitching something down that they're not happy at by switching to a conspiracy theory. passed through anyone else's mind? I can almost assure you that if the vote was fixed, you'd find a very thorough investigation instigated. M |

Sorry Sticks, but as much as I wanted Jon to stay in the house, one person reporting on the Channel 4 forum that they can't get through to an eviction line does not constitute evidence of fixing.
However, if there is cause for complaint from Tickilites, it's the change in the eviction system this week. I don't think it's sour grapes to bring that up - if there had been a normal eviction process Jon would have stayed in and that's a fact. |

To add to my previous post, also...
The group that adjudicates (or as Four Ventures put it 'Monitors') is an exceptionally well known group called "Electoral Reform Services" Quote:
One can safely presume they have a lot of experience in the matter, and will not be able to be 'bought' into verifying that a poll is valid, when it's been performed incorrectly. ERS are probably one of the best groups to trust in such things, ergo, I am more than happy to believe that the eviction poll was taken legally, correctly, and was not 'fixed'. M. |
