In 1926, Ederle became the first woman to swim 21 miles across the English Channel. also starring Christopher Eccleston, Stephen Graham, Tilda Cobham-Harvey, Jeanette Hain (best known for her role in the Oscar winning film The Reader) director is Joachim Ronning, also behind disney films such as Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and currently also working on Tron: Ares, and who is confirmed to the directing the 6th Pirates of the Caribbean film
