I sometimes vaguely wonder if Irish communities make comparisons to Oliver Cromwell, when small towns and villages have vast amounts of migrants forced on them?

Anywhere with smaller communities is going to feel the effects of new arrivals more than big towns. It doesn't have to be immigrants, any new people in numbers messes with the community.

It's not a difficult concept, so it's kind of strange that authorities ignore it
