…not really, I don’t think…there are often significant events happen during BB and their time in the house and it wouldn’t be fair to ‘rate’ the importance of them by relaying one but not another…they are all aware of the no world event contact and will all have been given more detail of it so they themselves wouldn’t expect it…and in a way it wouldn’t be fair to them either if it was ‘shock news that had a personal impact on them’…and that impact had to be processed publicly, or not in privacy around their fellow housemates as well…so many reasons I feel, why it wouldn’t benefit for them to be told and would serve no purpose…

This isn't like Elvis or Prince passing really though, is it? I mean... It's sad that he died, let's give him some respect here, but it isn't a cultural event or anything.

No need to fall out about it either in all honesty. What's so hard in just understanding that some have feelings about this and being cool with that?
