That makes good sense.
[In October 2024, it was reported that the party's founders planned to dissolve the WEP pending the approval of the membership, citing financial difficulties and changes in the political environment.] Sandi Toksvig spoke about it on GMBHD itv 8:20AM https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...equality-party ![]() [Sophie Walker, the leader of the Women's Equality Party speaking at the launch of the party's general election manifesto at party headquarters in London. I remember years back on a student forum I was on, someone from that party did a Q&A.
There was a lot of "well ackshulluy"-ing from the students, pointing out the "wage gap" is a myth, and the difference in pay is caused by different work habits. The representative completely failed to counter that by talking about societal expectations which lead to these different work habit, or anything of the sort. She either outright ignored the comments, or just repeated herself that the wage gap needs to close. Like ... okay, so address the actual causes?
