I bought the boxset on day of release, the LP sounds amazing

I can see what the issues are, and why some fans aren't happy with aspects of the remaster... but to me it sounds great

They seem to be remastering loads of classic albums these days

Yup, Brian May and Roger Taylor (guitarist and drummer respectively) were directly involved, and very much so at that.

I love Queen I btw. I remember when I was a kid I asked my parents to buy it for me on CD at Gatwick Airport (the only albums of theirs I'd previously listened to in-full, I think, were A Kind of Magic and A Night at the Opera), and spent a lot of our holiday listening to it in our hotel room on a CD walkman. It was my first experience of really early Queen. So I have a lot of fond memories and nostalgia associated with that album.
