I feel like this season was doing so well, but the past week, and this upcoming week with the vault twist have really let the season down. It feels so manufactured and producer driven that even the vote to win doesn’t really matter as they will just alter things anyway.

I dunno, i think BB needed to do this to make the last week interesting. Ali winning is boringly predictable now, so we needed something to shake the house up.

But even that tbf was manufactured by BB putting Thomas up for eviction, which stopped Marcello from saving Khaled.

We really need less interference from BB next year ,and we need more organic drama & less manufactured stuff.

They should focus on regular nominations next time, and scrap the daft HOH . Maybe have a immunity task once or twice , but none of this save & replace / killer nom foolishness.

There's only 5 days left however so I'm not going to let a bad period spoil how good it's been from the start

I'm not sure it was producer manipulation, more a case that the hm's showed their less pleasant sides as the finish line neared, which has pushed it from being an entertaining watch to something much more tedious

I’d probably put that down to being stuck on basic rations for 5 weeks straight which has taken its toll on them (not excusing all the things, but it’s defo been a massive reason - I know I’d probably be grumpier and grouchier after 5 weeks of **** food and being in that house haha).

Also each year that goes by the fact they have had no access to phones and screens will be harder to bear

Yeah I guess that’s true as we all become so much more dependent on them, especially when bored. That never crossed my mind.

For me it has gone from a Ali V Khaled amazing final battle to a landslide victory to Ali. They ruined things outting up Thomas and forcing a choice from HOH Marcello which screwed Khaled over.

I am now resigned to the fact Ali will win. No twists or turns can make the final week exciting because she already had it in the bag. Too much meddling and editing this year for my liking. Sick of seeing Thomas comments saying he is boring, he is not he is just not shown.

I think Ali would be nailed on to win after Lily left, even if Khaled had survived on Friday. But it did feel like a poetic way to finish the series, considering how their time in the house had been complex and intertwined. It is a personal opinion, and I appreciate others will disagree, but it feels a bit listless and without purpose. The twists should be complimenting the housemates, not dominating them.
