Police said a murder inquiry has
been launched following the
discovery in Ilford, East London.

Superintendent Steve Freeman
said the woman, who has not been
named but is from Corby in
Northamptonshire,
may have been the victim of
a "targeted incident".

Mr Freeman said: "Fast-track inquiries
were made which sadly led
to the discovery of a woman's body
inside the boot of a vehicle
in the Ilford area of London.

"We are treating the death as suspicious
and a murder investigation has been launched."

Detectives from the
East Midlands Special Operations
Unit major crime team are working
in the Metropolitan Police on the case.]

were aware of this Lady.
In Corby, the 24year old was known
to the Police as having trouble with
her husband.

…this is just so incredibly tragic and awful…I would have thought that he would have fled to family overseas, so hopefully he’ll be found and brought back to face justice for ….how terrified she must have been and how helpless she must have felt…having just watched Until I Kill You, which is based on a true story…it makes you realise how completely unprotected that females are in their lives if suffering abuse and living with extreme fear every day…the police system is sadly too often, not fit for purpose and offers little or no protection…

And once again the police refer themselves to the watchdog, every time something like this happens its the same old story, woman dead and the police refer themselves, nothing changes, she lived in a shared house as well, and a woman was heard with a man and she sounded terrified, but no one intervened ... sad times

It's sometimes hard to believe this is 2024 and not 1824. Some things have just not moved on. The police, where women's safety is concerned, are a bloody disgrace.
