Previous series have seen nominations done a particular way, all the housemates gathered on the sofas and were called to the DR in alphabetical order, this meant that when they come out after nominating they have to sit next to or close by to whoever they have nominated, now all that happens is they get called in alphabetical order but don't have to sit around the sofas. Do you prefer this or was the old way better?

I preferred the old way, because it was always interesting to see them avoid eye contact with certain people they nominated. I also think that if they gathered together, nobody could do any sucking up before nominations. Everyone accuses charley of doing it because she is so blatant about it, but they all do it in a certain way, just more subtly. And they all discuss who they are gonna nominate, or who they nominated. It makes for too much strategies and group nominations. Thats why we pretty much always see 2 people nominated, not 3 or 4

I prefer the old way but I suppose there is less bias and pressure this way.

I prefer this way, you get a lot more interesting action in between nommos besides awkward converstion and it doesn't make it seem as much of choir. Besides the nomination process can go on for up 5 hours, thats a long time to keep a bunch of people cooped up in a room.
