The housemates were given outfits to prepare for the Big Brother party and were told that it would be happening "soon" this afternoon.

Big Brother announced that the store room was open for the housemates to collect their party outfits, which are to be worn for the duration of the party. Inside the storeroom was an array of outfits described by Carole as: "Suitable for eight-year-olds."

The housemates were told how their hair should be styled too. Male housemates were asked to comb their hair in a side parting and the female housemates to put theirs up in a bun.

The housemates reacted differently to the outfits. The twins cheered: "I love it." Nicky merely repeated: "Oh God, oh my good lord, oh God."

Carole complained that she wasn't prepared for her balloon making task, saying that Big Brother had told her there would be time to practice before the party.

As the rest of the housemates got ready, Carole decided to reread the instructions and practice for her task. She reasoned to herself: "You'll never know how long soon is."

Aye i lipread her the other night when she was talking to nicky in the bathroom....nicky was tired and didn't want to join in the water fight....as nicky left the bathroom charley was doing her hair in the mirror and said ''miserable cow''............

Ach, I do apologise. I promised a party-post in my last entry. But, as the 3pm draws near, the party is yet to take place. Rather, they have spent the last 60 minutes or so getting themselves ready.

"These shoes are rather CUTE!" said Amanda (or Sam, I dunno) as she emerged from the store cupboard with her pink jelly-shoes.

Gerry, wearing a pale pink shirt, grey shorts and some cracking yellow socks said: "I don't mind this outfit."

He then insisted on taking Freddy to the party. "Oh Gerry do you have to bring it?" asked Nicky.
"Yes, it's a childrens' party"
"Ok."

The girls are wearing little dresses that don't quite fit them, but they seem happy enough. Except Chanelle, who is in bed looking a bit sorry for herself. Her weekly (yes, weekly) period pains seem to have come back. Big Brother played the alarm to try and shift her, but she wouldn't budge.
