It's a tricky one with music because there are already things (good things, creatively, IMO) in place that allows for using other people's material in new creative projects; sampling, cover versions, remixes, etc. and while I'm all for restricting the "creativity" of AI (it is, thus far, unilaterally soulless) I would be wary of the laws surrounding it inadvertently restricting human creativity as well. Some of my favourite tracks are mixes, mash-ups and cover versions.
