Big Brother Africa Housemates had a surprising experience this morning when they were informed that their new Housemate, Scottish Cameron from the Big Brother UK House was to join them for a few days.

Cameron was jet-lagged and disorientated after being blind folded on board a private jet. He had no idea where he was headed. He's also just come from a hectic week facing and surviving a Nomination for Eviction last week.

Big Brother Doctor told Cameron that all Big Brother Africa Housemates had been through a rigorous medical examination and all had a clean bill of health. What was the Doctor trying to tell him? Did he want to ensure that Cameron explored his new environment and Housemates to the full? And the BB Psychologist, Jacques Schutte, met with him for a brief reassurance of a helpful ear... if he should need it.

Once in the House, Zein immediately bonded with Cameron. Could it be that he's finally found his soul mate?

One could only wonder with whom he will form his first real bond and whether he's going to have his first fight with Alex, like everyone else has had? Alex looked on warily when the new Housemate arrived. He has been treading carefully with Cameron so far. He hasn't issued a single `I don't Ka yer' yet. Is it only a matter of time before we have yet another confrontation. The other Housemates on the other hand treated Cameron as if he'd been there all the time.

'When you settle down then I'll run your brain through all this,' said a very excited Abby. Was she trying to make up for her lost love Gaetano? Cherise was also very welcoming and told Cameron that he should stay here forever. She also shares an affinity with Cameron based on the fact that her step dad is of Scottish descent...

Cameron's profile states that he wishes to be like James Bond, and often laughs and sings in his sleep. Will Cameron perhaps strike a cord with Stefan? Will they land themselves a recording deal after leaving the House? As for his intolerance for people who like the sound of their own voices, let's hope he doesn't get tired of Alex's voice too soon...

I'm guessing that this is the answer to the fact that Cameron will not have had any injections

Aw bless him! They showed some more pictures of him in the house on BBLB tonight. It looks really odd seeing him in that house - odder than seeing Gaetano in ours!

Reaching out ... Cameron meets African housemates





SHELL-SHOCKED Cameron joined the African housemates yesterday — and didn’t take long to bore them rigid.

They shrieked with surprise as he walked in and ignored his offer of handshakes — opting to hug him instead.

The shy Scot, 32, was soon blushing when he discovered boys and girls did not have separate bedrooms.

But worse was to come when he found out about “shower hour” — when the African housemates all bathe together in the buff.

Cameron — normally one of the cleanest competitors — decided to give it a miss. And he went bright red when 23-year-old Zambian Cherise asked him if he was single.

He spent the morning in the garden with three male housemates who tried to take an interest in his long-winded story about his switch.

But it didn’t take long for the group to drift away, leaving Cameron looking bewildered.

For much of the day’s live coverage, he was shown by himself in the lounge, staring at the ceiling.

A show insider admitted: “It didn’t take long for the novelty value to wear off. They are an incredibly frank and noisy bunch and he is going to have to find something interesting to say or he will get ignored.”

But viewers welcomed Cameron. They sent good luck text messages to the show and complimented his looks.

Cameron confessed to Big Brother he could not get his tongue around the African names. But flirty Abergail — who romanced Gaetano — offered to help.

Cameron has suffered a culture shock during his first day on the African version of Big Brother.

The Orkney fish trader blushed when he discovered boys and girls did not have separate bedrooms.

And he opted out of joining in "shower hour" - when the African housemates all bathe together naked.

For much of the day's live coverage, he was shown by himself in the lounge, staring at the ceiling.

Back in the UK, Gae shocked Nush by telling her people have been having sex in the African Big Brother house.

He said the African housemates are much less inhibited than the British, and walk around naked.

And he admitted that he is now going out with one of the contestants, Abby.

When pressed by the housemates he admitted they had kissed, but did not disclose they had slept together.
