Ah V. It was amazing. I'm not exactly a sci fi buff but this was really great. Very good characters.

I wasn't allowed to watch it. I remember being fuming that my mum wouldn't let me. I had terrible nightmares as a kid and after she let watch Day of the Triffids and I didn't sleep for 2 weeks she refused to let me watch V. Everyone at school watched it

I recall loving it .. weren’t there ‘people’ who were really lizards and showed their true selves occasionally ?

There was a remake which was pretty good too

I remember the birth scene a lovely baby girl came out but the gotcha moment she opens her mouth and had a lizard’s tongue then the same woman gave birth to a lizard creature

Another classic scene was one eating a large rat by lowering it into its mouth
