[Police have released a picture of a man
who was allegedly beaten to death with
a concrete slab on the Isle of Sheppey.

Alexander Cashford, 49, was found dead
with multiple serious injuries
in Leysdown-on-Sea on Sunday.

A 16-year-old girl and two boys,
aged 15 and 14, have been charged
with his murder.

Kent Police were called to reports
of 'an altercation' in the Warden Bay Road
area shortly after 7pm.
It is alleged the victim was assaulted
following a disturbance involving a
small group of people.
Officers attended along with
South East Coast Ambulance Service
and Mr Cashford was confirmed deceased
at the scene.]

…so maybe a targeted attack…?…it’s difficult to know any information accuracy from any media’s but one article has said of the victim…’a convicted stalker and prolific offender once described by police as a “one man crime wave”.

‘Court records show that earlier this year Mr Cashford received a curfew and electronic tag after admitting stalking a young woman in Gillingham. He had followed her home from work and visited her address twice in the early hours of the morning, leaving a chocolate bar and a letter.’

Not sure if it’s accurate but apparently they lured him there to meet a 16yr old and then killed him. It’s island gossip though.

They’re not local to the island. My cousin knows someone who works for social services and she would have received the report if they were local.

We have a lot of Londoners here in the summer on holiday.

…it’s being reported that another 12yr old girl from Basildon in Essex is being held/questioned but hadn’t been charged …it’s undoubtedly an horrific/violent killing …the victim also was apparently wearing a tag from his recent prison release…
