Default Government thinking of charging your rubbish by Weight (pay as you throw)

Bollocks

I will now take my Rubbish into smaller bags
then put them inside the Public Street bins

So Bugger off
PM Starmer

[The UK government is considering charging
households for waste collection based on weight,
a system known as "pay-as-you-throw".
This could involve local councils implementing
variable charging, potentially using
wheelie bins weighed as they're emptied
or requiring specific council rubbish bags.
The aim is to incentivize recycling
and reduce waste,
but the proposal faces criticism and debate]

Yes, but many homes are putting too much general
rubbish, each week.

They will be charged Extra.

Best to buy small bags for
whenever they start this

Then put your rubbish in the Street Bins
and dog poo bins

Every other day

They obviously haven't thought it through. There are communal bins etc, there are recycling points in car parks etc. They will end up having to replace every wheelie bin with a lockable version. The time taken to weigh and verify every ****ing bin. What happens if you miss a week but have double the waste the next pickup. It's just unworkable

Starmer does realise that he was elected to enact policies that people WANT! Right?

Not enacting policies that 95% of people never asked for or even cared about.
