For my part

Obviously Saka and Cole Palmer walk back in ..

I would also include Jack Grealish , Mason Mount , TAA , Nwaneri and Ben White ..


I would omit Bowen , Dan Burn , Anthony Gordon and Reece James ( as he’s too brittle)

The Defence is quite weak but that's been an issue for quite a while with England, I can't see you winning the world cup next summer to be honest but you never know in Football

I agree.

Tbh this team is a bit ordinary in the midfield as well imo.

And there's only a couple of strong forwards in the lineup I feel.

The talent is there it just needs the right manager … maybe it means getting the Brighton or Palace manager in to get the best out of the squad

A lot of these players are decent at club level.

But they're too bland to ever be exceptional enough to help win England major trophies.

He’s apparently said that he’s selected two people for each position to put pressure on the players and show them that they are gonna have to be better than great to get in the squad ..

Then selects one of his old ex Chelsea players who isn’t in good form and hasn’t been selected for England since 2017 ( 8 years ago )

So he picks him over in -form Jack Grealish

Have you got YOUR ideal England team ?

Some positions seem to be set in stone like Kane , Pickford , Rice , James at RB ( or one of back 3 ) plus Guéhi but the rest ?

I am liking the Guihi :Konsa partnership

At left back I don’t mind if it’s Spence or Livermento or Lewis-Skelly
( though Spence and Livermento can both play RB as well )


We now have two options at right wing and I would have Grealish on the left

Midfield looks like Rice with Anderson plus one other .. Eze / Bellingham / Rogers / Palmer ..
