Sixteen housemates enter the house, with a seventeenth set to join them as the final entrant. Unlike the others, this seventeenth housemate has been watching the show unfold, including all of the housemates’ introduction videos.

Upon their arrival, the seventeenth housemate is immediately summoned to the Diary Room. Big Brother reveals that they are not yet an official housemate. They will only earn full housemate status by the end of the week—and to do so, they must choose one of the sixteen existing housemates to evict and take their place.

Big Brother also warns the seventeenth housemate that they must not share any details of this task with the other housemates.

I think one where the Housemates have to confess their sins would be a cool one.

And the public has to vote for which sin was the worst one to have committed, which in turn gives that Housemate immunity from the first eviction.

It wouldn't benefit those Housemates in hindsight when they were to find out that they've missed out on immunity.
